Meet Tim & Sara: A Dynamic Mission for the Persecuted Church in Asia

Since 2010, Tim and Sara have passionately served the underground church in Asia. Their journey together began in 2012 when they married, and by 2016, their mission expanded to reach new nations. In 2022, they founded Train The Nations to provide accessible Bible training to Christian leaders under persecution, equipping them to shepherd their communities with boldness and Biblical truth.

Sara’s call to missions ignited early. Growing up in Africa with her missionary parents, she witnessed the transformative power of the Gospel firsthand. With a BA from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) and a heart full of purpose, she moved to an undisclosed city in Asia in 2010 to pursue full-time ministry.

Tim began full-time ministry in 2006, leading student ministries and establishing a vibrant young adult ministry in South Texas. Through divine connections, he, too, was led to Asia in 2010. The following year they began working together in ministry and God made it clear to them their future in marriage and ministry.

In 2016, following a season of fasting, prayer, and counsel from elders, Tim and Sara shifted their base to South Texas. This strategic move opened doors for them to partner with more nations, train local leaders, and further their reach in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

With the launch of Train The Nations in 2022, Tim and Sara can now respond quickly and effectively to opportunities in restricted areas across Asia. Their work empowers pastors and leaders facing daily challenges of faith, providing them with the resources to thrive and inspire hope within their communities.
